April 2010.

Une superbe surprise de la part de Ben DANTONIO ( Directeur Général de Revolution Kites) à Berck…
Plus fort que Steve Jobs chez Apple, il nous annonce la dernière invention révolutionnaire de la marque : un velo en carbone qui avec une forme très speciale – il permet de faire demi-tour sur moins de 2metres.
la forme a bien sur été déposée et un accord avec un fabriquant et vendeur de velo américain a été conclu sur un minimum de plusieurs millions de dollars de vente – c’est dire combien Revo est sûr de son produit !
Sa sortie devrait être maintenant rapide et j’ai hâte de voir à quoi il ressemble…

Here is a great quad kite made 8 times by the belgium kite maker and flyer Georges Engerbert. It takes 20 hours to make one kite !

Voila un cerf-volant inspiré d’un 4 lignes de la marque allemande HQ, dont la taille et agrandie, la forme modifiée et le bridage revu – fabriqué en 8 exemplaire par le courageux Belges Georges Engerbert (20h de couture par Cerf-volant) – Puis un essai du cerf-volant par un membre de l’equipe Al-Farsi du Koweit, specialisé dans le vol de très grands monofils gonflables dans le desert – proprietaire aussi du plus grand cerf-volant du monde par Peter Lynn en version ” Drapeau Koweitien”.

Painting with 45 feet lines : Polo from France does it at the Internatianal Kite Festival of Frejus (october 2008 – France), with his revolution kite he made himself ( 60 hours of work because of the number of fabric pieces !).
He also flies with some music chosen randomly, wich changes every 20′ seconds and has to adapt to its rythm !

• Voila mon ami et excellent pilote Polo, connu pour ses cerf-volant Revolution qu’il fabrique lui même. Certains lui prennent jusqu’à 60 heures de couture à cause du grand nombre de pièce et sa technique de fabrication particulière (d’abord le contour puis l’interieur des panneaux et la gaze.
Il nous fait ici une démonstration de peinture avec son cerf-volant auquel sont attachés des pinceaux – Voyez comme il rince bien les pinceaux entre chaque couleur pour ne pas les melanger !!! – Puis il nous fait un autre show sur de la musique changeant toutes les 20 secondes et s’adapte alors au rythme. • Voila le BLAST, un cerf-volant quatre ligne orienté traction (il existe aussi le superblast en 2 tailles pour le char, qui permet une gestion très fine de la puissance) mais qui permet aussi de s’amuser avec le freestyle et la précision comme on peut le voir ici, piloté par deux maîtres :
Ben D’antonio, responsable des séries spéciales et du marketing chez Revolution, et Damien Gallibour de l’équipe parisienne les Crazy Drivers, pilote très complet puisque qu’exellent pilote indoor 4 ligne et ancien champion du monde d’Indoor 2 lignes !
