AIRSKIM – Ultralight single line kite, from the Horvath Kite Lab

This is the airskim, a great suiss single kite from the HORVATH kite lab.
The video i took shows two nice ultralight single line kites (italian copies) at the Frejus Festival 2008, France.

Flying a kite blind, hood on the head !!!

Victor Rodriguez kite flyer from the Canarias Ilslands is flying a 2 lines stunt kite, first with one arm and hand, then with a scarf and a hood on his eyes, totally blind. He also does a show with his son Juan, flying a kite while beeing seeted on his shoulders!

• Bon je sait – ça ne sert à rien et ce n’a pas un aspect si spectaulaire – mais c’est amusant pour la foule –

Voila un mec tres sympa qui essaie pleins de trucs diffèrents et un peu tordus dont “voler avec une cagoule et un bandeau sur les yeux” : Victor Rodriguez qui vient des Iles Canaries.
Filmé lors du festival d’Alcochete (face à Lisbone) en Juin 2008 – désolé j’ai filmé ça avec mon petit appareil numérique et la video n’est vraiment pas terrible.

• Voila 5 trains de dynakites pilotés par 2 équipes italiennes dont Vulandra. Ces cerf-voalnt inventés par Peter Powell il y déjà plus de 30 ans sont encore commercialisés par la marque Dynakite. Il est possible de les monter en train et le record est de 111 cerf-volant avec un pilote

Great Megateam 8 x 13 kites = 104 kites

104 kites flown at the same time with 8 pilots from to great worldly known teams : the Bay Area Sundowners (flying with self designed kites) and the Windjammers (flying with the amazing Dynakites)- at the International kite festival 2008, at Dieppe, France – october 2008 – video by Alex de Saint-Jouan –

• 104 cerf-volants volant ensemble aux couleurs des Etats-Unis (13 cerf-volants comme les 13 bandes du drapeau américains faisant référence aux 13 premiers états) Rouge, Blanc et Bleu –

2 équipes sont ici associées : Les californiens Bay Area Sundowners et les Windjammers de Detroit font parti des plus anciennes équipes du monde, faisant des show depuis 25 ans.

Les Bay Area pilotes des 2 lignes qu’ils ont designés eux même et qu’ils possedent et 3 versions differentes selont la force du vent.

Les Windjammers volent avec des cerf-volants designés par Peter powell il y a plus de 30 ans que l’on appelle des “Peter Powell” ou Ace, vendus aujourd’hui sous la marque Dynakite, que l’on peut faire voler en train (le record est de 111 cerf-volants avec un seul pilote.) Je vous invite à aller voir le site internet avec les photos et les differentes possibilités de trains.

My Stack filmed by some tourists in the middle of Paris, (The Invalides by the river) – February 2008

As you see, it’s a 3 revolution kites stack made of mylar with the colours of the french flag wich matches with all the other flags on the top of the bulding in the area !!!

Train de cerf-volant aux couleurs du drapeau français – qui va parfaitement avec les drapeaux flottants sur les Invalides, au milieu de Paris !!!
